"What is happiness if you cannot share it with someone else?"
Helping our less fortunate brothers regain their vision has always been the rallying cry of the department. Unfortunately, there are too many vision impaired Filipinos and too few qualified eye doctors. Moreover, eye care especially cataract surgery is very expensive since none of the implants and surgical instruments are made in our country.
To achive our goal, several non-goverment organizations and private companies have been helping-out to make useful vision accessible to the needy.
To them we are grateful.
